Our Company

A women-owned & operated company was formed through a desire to exceed expectations and offer a high-quality product at a reasonable price. Since 2003, Howe It’s Done Catering & Events (HID) has proudly provided our services to the greater Sacramento area and surrounding cities. We are located minutes from downtown Sacramento. Our original 700 sq ft kitchen has grown to over 1800 sq ft in 16 years, increasing not only the size of our commercial kitchen space but also creating an additional private event space for our clients’ retreats and intimate affairs, which we named the Spare Room.

We are inspired by farm fresh and local ingredients, whether it’s an heirloom tomato from Ray Yeung Farms or baby spinach from Riverdog Farm. We believe that when an individual ingredient stands out on its own, it creates a significant difference in any given dish. Produce Express, which is dedicated to sourcing from local farms, has been our go-to supplier since the beginning of HID. They take incredible care in offering the same produce that we desire for our menus. We are also versed in various cuisines and are delighted to step outside the box to customize for each individual client.

HID has been honored in providing food and service to Rancho Cordova City, Sacramento City, the players and coaches of the River Cats’ pre-game and post-game meals that were designed in cooperation with the San Francisco Giants national nutritionist. We are a preferred vendor for SMUD, The California Museum, California Railroad Museum, Antiquite Maison Privee, and California Auto Museum. Our high standard of ingredients is also carried thru to our high standard of food safety. We have received the food safety award of Excellence from Sacramento County every year since being eligible.
